Our church council decided that we wanted to have some things to make visitors feel more welcome when they are with us. I ended up in charge of an item to be able to give to the kids. I came up with crayon rolls. Each visiting child will be given a crayon roll and a bible coloring book to take home.
I followed
this tutorial that I found on pinterest. I just skipped the ric-rac.
What a great idea! I love that you are incorporating them to make children feel welcome and loved. I may just have to make a few of these for our children's welcome center at our church. Thanks for sharing at A New Creation!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet are these?! What a wonderful way to care for new visitors and show that you're a church who welcomes children. Great idea! (Found you at A New Creation.)

What an amazing idea; these are totally wonderful. A perfect gift for parents to take along when travelling with their children. I have 2 small boxes of crayons in the bottom of my purse should we ever be out with our Grandsons. Love them, J.
ReplyDeleteI bought one for my son when he was really little but we haven't used it in awhile. I was planning on making more but still never got around to it. Maybe I should start now for Christmas :)
ReplyDeleteLove them! I have a stack that I made LAST YEAR that just need buttons on them! *blush* I think I should move them to my "to do" list.. lol!!
ReplyDeleteGreat project!
