Dishcloth - a - pa - looza

Ok - so I might be a little obsessed with making dishclothes.  They are just something simple and mindless to do when I am watching tv.  I have given away about 20 of them and I still have about 30.  I can't stop making them and I am not sure why.
I like to sew, but I have to be in the mood to go upstairs and sit alone when I sew.  I can just whip these up real quick when I am sitting with my family.  They are kind of fun and I don't see me stopping anytime soon!

  1. Very cool. I made a bunch of them about a year ago. Still haven't worn out so I don't need more.

  3. I love making dishcloths! They're so simple, and you're right - sewing by yourself is not as fun as crocheting/knitting near the family! Hopped over from Fluster's Creative Muster Party. I'm a new follower!

  4. I don't know how to crochet or knit (actually I've never tried), but I love these dish clothes. I have several that I have received as gifts. In fact, my husband was given one as a tip yesterday. Thank you for sharing your obsession (LOL) on Fluster's Creative Muster Party!

  6. Are these crocheted? I really want to learn how to crochet. I've tried a few times but I really need to sit down and have someone show me how!!

  9. Me, too! I've been whipping out mini dish rags for my littles to use to wipe their faces off after meals... I hate how quickly we go through napkins so I thought these would be a good alternative : )

  12. Looks like you need to start a Etsy shop to sell your dishcloths. They are really pretty and should sell well. Thank you for joining the Open House party.

  13. I have never had one of these dishcloths, but they are the only kind my friend will use. She searches for them at church bazaars in the fall and winter and loads up.

  17. Those are great. My mother in law had made a bunch before she passed away.I have tucked them in a box and bring one out each January 1st, to make them last as long as possible.
